About Us

Who Are We?

We’re a bunch of kayak crazy people
who love to kayak in rough conditions.

We’re not supermen.

We’re eager and happy kayakers,
willing to train to test our limits.

Together we’re strong and safe.

Be a steely-eyed missile man!

What draws me to the sea? The physical, what you can see, is obvious: close-ups of nature, the fresh breeze, outdoor activities. But equally so, it’s what you can’t see: feeling of freedom, entwined in an ever changing seascape in a small vessel, the awe and joyful terror experienced when trying to harness the force of the waves and the cameradeship felt when enjoying this together with your friends.

More will than skill!

The leap from touring to rock hopping is scary at first. It is somewhat unnatural to seek out waves and the forces of nature in there close to rocks, shoals and land as the other kayakers go to shore. But as the first horror begins to fade, the sense of mastery comes slowly but surely. Eventually, you realize that you can do more than just survive in a rock garden. You choose your place, which lines you take, which waves you take … and which ones you do not take. And with that comes the good feeling – the feeling that keeps you up when the body is tired and screams for a break … the feeling that makes it hard to hold back a smile.
